HANDMADE HANDBAGS FIGHTING THE WATER PROBLEM

A great initiative with these trendy ethical handmade handbags, whose purchase help PlayPump organization fight the water problem in developing countries.

FLASHBAGS

Flashbags is a handmade handbags company located in Vermont, USA, and managed by 2 gorgeous and inspired ladies, Ali and Laura.

Flashbags partners with PlayPumps, an organization supplying developing villages with sustainable water pumps powered by children at play. Thus, each time you buy a PlayPump handbag at Flashbags, 20% go to PlayPumps.

“PURCHASE one Large PlayPumps Flashbag and provide clean drinking water to an entire family for one year!” as the website says.

But not only are these bags good because their purchase benefit people in need but they are also particularly original and, to my opinion, awesome. These great designs are unique creations provided by talented US artists.

They mainly sell in the US but you can also find some in the UK (Uniquely Different – Birkshire, England).

Make sure you get your own PlayPumps handbag sample and get the buzz started about PlayPum and the water problem in developping countries.

For Christmas last year, I found, at Whole Foods Market, a basket woven from discarded candy wrappers. It was beautiful, and very much appreciated.
    I think it’s a great idea!
